Pancake & Waffle Directions

You’ll need:
Milk (dairy or non-dairy), egg, and butter (melted and slightly cooled)

Pancakes

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the mix, milk, egg, and melted butter until just combined.

  2. Let the batter rest for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Cook on a lightly greased skillet over medium heat until bubbles form and edges set. Flip and cook until golden.

Waffles

  1. Prepare batter as above, using slightly less milk for a thicker consistency.

  2. Let batter rest for about 5 minutes.

  3. Cook in a preheated, lightly greased waffle iron until crisp and golden.

About the Flavor

We use malt to create that familiar, old-fashioned pancake house flavor... warm, lightly toasted, and balanced rather than sweet. It adds depth without overpowering the batter or competing with toppings.

Gluten-Free Version Coming Soon

Because traditional malt is derived from barley, we’re carefully developing a gluten-free version of this mix that preserves the same old-fashioned flavor using alternative ingredients.

It’s not quite ready yet and that’s intentional. We’re taking the time to get it right.
